Data collected while registering in the database

  • All data collected during the registration is stored on a server that is accessible only to NUS Global Asia Institute research staff. These data are used only for the purpose of recruiting subjects to participate in experiments. This data will not be communicated to any third party.
  • At any time, any participant may unsubscribe from the invitations to experiments by sending an email to behav.lab@nus.edu.sg.
  • Upon request, we will delete participant's data without any restrictions. To request deletion, you may send any email to behav.lab@nus.edu.sg.
Data collected during the experiment
  • All personally-identifying data collected during an experiment (e.g., your name) is processed according to the approved ethics document of the respective study. Usually, any personal information is replaced with a code number, and the list linking code numbers to personally-identifying data is kept separate from the experimental data.
  • All human-subjects forms containing personally-identifying information (e.g., informed consent) are stored in secure locations.

Your data is protected under NUS data protection policy.

As a human-subject participant at NUS Behavioural Lab, it is your right to lodge a complaint if you believe that sensitive information about you collected during an experiment has not actually been kept confidential. Such complaints can be delivered to the Institution Review Board of NUS.
